Storing plants during the winter was originally only a small portion of what we did when we built our first greenhouse in 1998. We did favors for a few friends who had the occasional Hibiscus standard or Rosemary bush. We were encouraged to pursue the concept of thinking of a greenhouse full of other people's plants as our Crop. We did, and it worked. We found other gardeners who enjoy storing their plant collections instead of staring from scratch each year. Similarly, our rental business started as an idea that also had the support and mentoring of a few individuals who thought that the icebox of Connecticut would make a fine home for a plant rental business. We now have a second Crop of plants, except these plants belong to The Gardens at Cheshire.

Now, we have moved to a larger and more convenient location to better serve our customers.
